Instead, we’re focused on providing each client with responsive, talented legal representation and counseling tailored to each individual’s situation. Unlike so many law firms, we never bill our clients for more time than we have actually worked. Our clients come from richly diverse backgrounds, and we love working in this dynamic community of immigrants, entrepreneurs, and creative thinkers. We offer the entire San Francisco Bay Area legal advice and representation in new business start up formation, incorporation, private stock offerings, capitalization issues, and securities law compliance, and commercial contract negotiation. Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney - Probate and Trust Administration A large portion or our practice also consists of assisting individuals and families with estate planning to ensure they and their assets are protected from conservatorship and probate and that their assets pass as seamlessly as possible to their children or other intended beneficiaries. We tailor our estate plans to give full effect to our clients’ wishes through the use of California revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and other instruments. We are committed as well to serving same sex couples by creating estate plans that take maximum advantage of evolving California law concerning property ownership and domestic partner rights. Additionally, if a probate is unavoidable, we also represent executors and estate administrators in probate proceedings before the Probate Court. Of course, where a living trust was in place and properly funded prior to a person’s death, we provide representation and legal counsel to successor trustees in trust administration. Bankruptcy Law Not all of our clients are in a financial position to need much estate planning beyond a will. Many clients come to us at time they are struggling under the weight of crushing debt. We offer caring and supportive representation to consumers who need to avail themselves of the protections afforded by bankruptcy law. We help debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases and frequently defend consumer debtors against creditors in bankruptcy adversary proceedings.
